Siobhán Boyd

A Shannon native, Siobhán has lived in the town all her life with her husband and three grown-up children. They are active volunteers with groups like Shannon Town AFC, Shannon's Ukrainian response team, Mná na Chéile (Shannon Women's Shed) and she has supported children from Belarus in the past as well.

Siobhán, a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), transitioned to the family business before moving into other varied professional roles for both local companies and international organisations. These included, but are not limited to; sitting on Boards of Directors, acting as Financial Controller for multiple divisions, and other roles in Operations, Customer Service Management, Company Secretary and Human Resources.

With her deep roots in Shannon, Siobhán is committed to the towns future. She believes in working together to provide a solid foundation for the generations to come, ensuring that Shannon continues to thrive and prosper. Her dedication is a driving force in her involvement with the Shannon Community Partnership.
