Denise O'Brien

A Shannon native and passionate advocate for her hometown’s future, Denise O’Brien draws on over 25 years of organisational leadership experience. Born and raised in the town, she founded O’Brien Learning Solutions in 2016, specialising in change management & executive coaching for clients; including multinationals & public bodies.

Her collaborative work with UL Student Life funded by Skillnet Ireland earned recognition as a 2024 finalist for Ireland’s Best L&D Collaboration.

An International Coaching Federation ACC-accredited executive coach pursuing an MSc in Work & Organisational Behaviour at UL, Denise and her team provide leadership development and employee engagement interventions to organisations of all sizes. Her previous Clare Echo business column and local partnerships reflect her commitment to fostering Shannon’s economic and social development.
