Siobhán, a Certified Public Accountant, transitioned to the locally run family business before moving into other varied professional roles at both local & international levels. In addition to sitting on Boards of Directors, she has held managerial roles in Finance, HR, Operations & Customer Service.

Derek has been living in Shannon since 1976. He is now retired after working for 25 years in SPS International & 16 years in Penn Engineering Galway. He is Chairperson of Shannon Tidy Towns & Secretary for Shannon Men's Shed.

A Shannon resident for over 50 years, Geraldine has witnessed the town's evolution first-hand. She is a former member of the Shannon Town Commissioners, which later became the Shannon Town Council and has a wealth of experience to draw on as a member of many boards over the years.

Sue is a Lecturer at the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS, formerly LIT), where she is the programme co-ordinator for the BA (Hons) in Interior Design, having built the programme over the last five years.

Originally from Sixmilebridge, Sam has lived in Shannon since he was 16. He has a BA in Psychology & Maths and a Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence. Professionally, he worked in GECAS (later AerCap) for five years in IT and is a regular volunteer with Illaunmanagh parkrun.

Donna Marie, a committed Shannon resident working in the Aviation Industry. She is a founding member of the Women in Aviation Mid-West Region Group. She holds pivotal positions in various sports organisations and actively volunteers in local schools; from boards of management to fundraising.

A born & raised resident of Shannon, Joanne is on the board of management for Shannon Family Resource Centre and also secretary & co-founder of Mná Le Chéile, Shannon Women’s Shed.

Nick is a veteran with four decades of experience in regional development roles and has a rich history with Shannon Development Company. In his post-retirement years, he served as a National Tidy Towns Adjudicator, Best Kept Northern Ireland Adjudicator & a board member of Active Retirement Ireland.
