Sam Stephen

Originally from Sixmilebridge, Sam relocated to Shannon at the age of 16 and has been a resident ever since. With a BA in Psychology & Maths, he embarked on his professional journey by joining the IT Helpdesk at GECAS, which later became AerCap. Over the past six years, he furthered his education by earning a Graduate Diploma in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Limerick. During this time, he welcomed two nieces into the Shannon community and moved into his own home.

On a local level, he actively volunteers at Shannon's Illaunmanagh parkrun. His decision to engage with Shannon Community Partnership is driven by the desire to amplify the voices of younger community members. Leveraging his IT expertise, Sam seeks to contribute and support the group as needed.
