David Brown

Originally from South Africa, David has been living in Shannon for over 50 years. He has worked locally in a number of American companies, managing roles in finance, customer service, import/export compliance, H.R., and ICT. David has also held support roles within several organisations, including Shannon Chamber, Skillnet, Midwest Lean Network, and a Shannon primary school.

David's reason for working with Shannon Community Partnership is that Shannon includes second, third, and even fourth-generation residents, offering significant support for numerous community initiatives and actions. Additionally, the community can build on the strengths of its multicultural makeup. David believes he can contribute his experiences to the group and the wider community.
