Sue Corcoran

Vice Chairperson

Sue Corcoran is a Lecturer at the Technological University of the Shannon: Midland Midwest (TUS), formerly Limerick Institute of Technology. More specifically Sue is Programme Co-Ordinator for the BA (Hons) in Interior Design at Limerick School of Art & Design, where she has built this programme over the past five years.

 

After graduating from Interior  Architecture in Cardiff in 2000, Sue took a position with Aer Rianta International in Shannon Airport, where she met her husband, a native of the town. Sue has been a resident of Shannon for two decades and values the innovative history of the area and what potential the town ultimately holds.

 

Sue oversaw the Irish Office of Nicholas de Jong Associates between 2004 and 2008, an Urban Design consultancy that provides services for town regeneration, and public realm design, along with many other related services. Sue also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Urban Design.

 

Sue has been involved in several committees, and steering groups in the past, and is a current board member of Limerick Civic Trust.
