Joanne Begley

Joanne Begley is a Shannon resident born and bred. She is married with two children, one in secondary school, and one in University.
Joanne is qualified in Social Care, specialising in disability, and is an End-of-Life Care Practitioner. Joanne has been an active member of the Shannon community by being part of Shannon Covid-19 Response Team and then with the Core Shannon Ukrainian Volunteer Team. Joanne is on the board of management for Shannon Family Resource Centre and also secretary/founder of Mná Le Chéile Shannon Women’s Shed.
Joanne believes that the community in Shannon is somewhat outstanding when they need to join forces for a cause and advocates in getting all groups to collaborate together to make Shannon a better place to live in and grow old in.
