The aim of the Club is to promote the knowledge and skills of the members and provide a forum for interaction with others of similar interest.

Shannon Chamber has been in existence since 1995, when a number of key business leaders decided their needs were not represented at regional / national level. We became affiliated to Chambers Ireland – the National Chamber movement – in 2003, and are now recognised as one of the most progressive and fastest growing chambers in the country.

Shannon's Chess Club was started to get kids interested in Chess, but also has game nights for adults.

Shannon College of Hotel Management, founded in 1951, is Ireland’s only dedicated Hotel Management College.

The West of Ireland’s only crematorium, nestling in a tranquil setting on the banks of the river Shannon, we offer a peaceful and rural choice for the people of The West of Ireland. The impressive building incorporates many new design features yet remains sympathetic to our heritage and compliments the wonderful landscape.

Shannon FRC was founded in 2001 and is based in the Respond Community and is a registered charity (CHY 15115).
The Centre provides services for all ages from 'Cradle to Grave'.

Shannon Fire Brigade attend approximately 170 calls per annum. These calls consist of chimney fires, house fires, road traffic accidents, flooding, special services, etc.

Established in 1966, Shannon’s 6,763-yard course, designed by John D. Harris, has been tested by golfers from all over the world – members, European professionals and a host of US stars.
The Golf Club also serves lunch daily and hosts a variety of events throughout the year - from table quizzes to pool & darts tournaments.
